We'll carefully inspect your garment and discuss the best way to preserve its unique details—favorite pockets, embroidered initials, special buttons, or meaningful fabric patterns.
3. Design Together
We'll collaborate on the style, fit, and finishing touches to create a piece that's uniquely yours while honoring the story behind the original garment.
4. Handmade with Care
Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in our Rhode Island studio with attention to every detail. (And yes, Coco is usually supervising from her favorite spot behind the sewing machine!)

2. Choose Your Jacket or Textile
Already have a favorite jean jacket that's been hanging in your closet? We'd be happy to transform it into your dream jacket! We also love incorporating meaningful textiles, such as vintage linens, lace, flannel shirts, quilts, or even fabrics with sentimental value.
Don't have a jacket? No problem! We can source the perfect thrifted denim jacket based on your preferred size, fit, and wash, giving it a beautiful second story.
3. Design Your One-of-a-Kind Piece
Together, we'll choose the perfect combination of fabrics, lace, ruffles, appliqués, embroidery, and finishing details to create a jacket that's uniquely you. Before we begin sewing, you'll receive a design plan and price quote for your approval.
4. Handmade with Love
Once your design is approved, the transformation begins! Every jacket is handcrafted in our Rhode Island studio with care, creativity, and attention to detail. (And yes—Coco, our four-legged quality control manager, is usually keeping a close eye on things from her favorite spot behind the sewing machine.)

2. Send or Drop Off Your Sweater
Have a favorite sweater you'd like us to use? Wonderful! We'll carefully evaluate the fabric and use the best sections to showcase its colors, textures, and character.
Don't have a sweater? No worries! We also create custom mittens from carefully selected thrifted wool sweaters that are perfect for a cozy second life.
3. Design Your Mittens
We'll discuss sizing, lining options, cuff styles, and any special requests to make your mittens both beautiful and practical. If you're creating Memory Mittens, we'll thoughtfully plan the layout to make the most of your treasured garment.
4. Handmade with Love
Each pair is individually cut, sewn, and finished in our Rhode Island studio with care and attention to every detail. And, as always, Coco—our four-legged quality control manager—is usually keeping watch from her favorite spot behind the sewing machine.
